Memorial walk for Pat Cassidy
The Pat Cassidy Memorial Walk to D'Feet MND took place on Saturday 13 May, to the hidden village of Galboly, nestled in the Glens of Antrim, close to Carnlough. The walk was organised by Pat's son Conor, family and friends, and raised £1000 for the MND Association between on-the-day donations and through their JustGiving page.
'Dad was a very keen walker and absolutely loved the sun coming out so that he could get out and go on walks of the North Coast,' said Conor.
For Conor and the circle of family and friends, fundraising is just one way of remembering and honouring their beloved father, husband and friend. In 2016 alone the group raised nearly £8000.
